Charlie was raised at St. Christopher's and then came back as an adult after living several years in Virginia. Charlie has been very active in church activities since his return. He is a lay reader, a member of the choir, and has served as both junior and senior wardens. Charlie is a media specialist at Blue Ridge Middle School in Greenville County, and spends summers as a counselor at Camp Pinnacle in the North Carolina mountains.

Paul has been a member of St. Christopher's for more than 25 years. He currently is serving as Junior Warden and Building and Grounds coordinator. Paul is also head usher, a sound technician, a teller, and a coffee hour volunteer. Paul and his wife Mary have been married and lived in Spartanburg for more than 40 years. They have a son, daughter-in-law, and grandaughter.

Anita has attended St. Christopher's for 22 years.  She is a choir member, a bell choir member, an altar guild member, a lector, a bible study 2:42 group  member, and helps knit prayer shawls. Her sons, Nick and Jack, were raised and confirmed at St. Christopher's. She and her husband John have been married for 25 years.

Martha has been a member of St. Christopher's for 10 years and wants everyone to know that she loves her church. She has been an active member who just completed another year as head of ticket sales for the annual Shrove Tuesday Oyster Roast. Martha taught elementary school for 36 years and then taught at USC Upstate for 7 years. Martha is retired but finds herself much busier that she has ever been!

Grant joined St. Christopher's Episcopal Church with his wife Elisabeth, a lifelong Episcopalian. He is busy at church with the Fun & Fellowship Committee, the Men of the Church, and the Community Garden group. He and his wife are coffee hour volunteers. Grant is also very active in the community serving as a board member for Leadership Spartanburg and the Downtown Sertoma Club, and also volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and Mobile Meals. Grant is a Senior Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management. He has three children, Sara, Aaron, and Nicole.

Jay joined the Episcopal Church in 2010 and became a member at St. Christopher's in 2012. He is a nurse and his wife Belinda is in nursing school. They are raising two boys, Nathan and Noah.

April and her family joined St. Christopher’s about 2 years ago after they moved to Spartanburg from Albany, NY.  She is a member of the Outreach and Development Committee and the Design Committee. Her husband, Kyran Dowling, works with Upstate Carolina Radiology.  April enjoys being an at-home-mom to their three teenage daughters, Kara, Shannon, and Alyssa.   

Peggy has been a member of St. Christopher’s for 30 years. She has served as president of ECW and as a member of the Pastoral Care committee. Peggy is a teller and has chaired the coffee hour committee for over 20 years.  After losing her husband to Parkinson’s Disease in March of 2012, Peggy has become heavily involved in her real estate business again. She is also a Rotarian, and is active with Spartanburg Men’s Garden Club and The Trees Coalition.  

Bea is a lifelong Episcopalian who has attended St. Christopher's Episcopal Church for 25 years. She is a lector, a chalice bearer, and a verger. Bea is a member of the Pastoral Care committee, a Prayer Shawl knitter, and, currently, the church webmistress. She is a retired school media specialist and, since the death of her husband in 2011, has been active with volunteer activities and her two children.

Ruth Anne was raised at St. Christopher’s and returned with her family in 1994.  She has served as treasurer since 2008, has a community garden plot and is a member of the design committee.  Ruth Anne is also active in the community through her service on the boards of the Uptown Sertoma Club and Camp Sertoma of SC.  She and her husband, Rob, have two sons, Will and Alex, who grew up and were confirmed at St. Chris.
